Our Story
Before becoming a distributor for Basic Equine Nutrition, I spent years exploring countless products, always searching for the right nutritional solutions for my horses. Like many horse owners, I found that most products promised more than they delivered, leaving me with mixed results and unanswered needs.
My wife and I are originally from New England, and our journey with Standardbreds began back in the early 1970s. For more than 35 years, I worked as a driver and trainer of harness horses, racing throughout New England, Florida, and Illinois. Today, we call Plains, Pennsylvania, home, where we share our lives with four cats, three dogs, and proudly support a local horse rescue and adoption agency.
With over 60 years of combined experience in the equine world, we’ve seen it all when it comes to equine products. That’s why our discovery of Basic Equine Nutrition was such a turning point.
